Garrett was a good and patient teacher who provided great insights into the professional conducting world, especially in Europe. He seemed to truly care about his students. Many musical insights.
Concert with the orchestra. The concert hall is a converted cinema, and is very high but not very deep. Not great acoustics. Excellent location right downtown in a major square.
If there is a second edition, it will probably be with Leonid Grin.
Orchestra plays at a high level and most of them understand English.
