This is an AMAZING workshop. Getting to work with both Larry Rachleff and Don Schleicher in the same workshop is an unbeatable experience. They work so well together and play off of each other and it is really fun to watch. They also give everyone specific and individual attention and feedback. The orchestra plays well and is generally very responsive to the conductors (good and bad!). The price is hefty (around $4000) and there is no performance opportunity, so that combination is a huge bummer. Whether or not it is worth the price depends on your experience and financial situation. However, I can say that I have never learned more than I did at this workshop and made some great friends with both fellow participants and members of the orchestra. Would highly recommend!
